Certified Canon EOS citizen

Certified Canon EOS citizen

Last Thursday, me and some colleagues of mine from Kamerahuset, went to the temple of out in Søborg. We signed up to the one day course where we would learn all about using the film of the Canon EOS DSLR camera’s. The day went from 09.30 till around 16, and we got to try out a lot of different cameras, accessories and lenses. We played alot with the new 60D camera, but we also got thought in why the 7D and the 5D is a much more versatile camera to use. The qualitly are about the same when looking at the end results from a 550D, 60D and 7D, but on thd 7D you have the options to use the two semi automatic functions Av and . This lets you give the camera a bit more control, if you don’t wan’t to go fully . The xxD and XXXD series are only able to be either fully automatic or … There… Now you know :-D

Well the day went by rather fast, and i’m going back to the Canon Stronghold next Thursday for another program about HD filming in general. Of cause when i say general it pretty much only apply to the Canon Cameras. You don’t get tutored in Nikon or out at that place, but the principles are pretty much the same, so i will be better at guiding my clients in getting the best for their needs.

It also gave me a huge urge to fool around with my camera a lot more, sense i do have the top of the pop within Dslr cameras, so why not? I only need some better accerories like a external microphone, for one thing that really sucks is the sound that you record. Maybe i should join forces with people to start making :-D Already have a good friend who has his head full of idears, so why not?

Attached are pictures of my trip to the stronghold.

Uhhh, and one of the guys from work brought a Nikon camera, and sneaked it past security… We had fun hiding it a couple of times alongside the table stuffed with canon equipment. Stood out like a sour thumb..

Eurovision 2010 final

Eurovision 2010 final

The day for to held the Eurovision song contest 2010 arrived, and Rybak, last years winner can now pass on his 1′st place.  And for who? Let me tell you (if you don’t already know) Germany! Well congratulations Germany, you had the lowest odds on my betting site because the bookies thought you would win, and win you did.

Remember my top 3 list from last post? 1; Belgium, 2: Germany 3: Turkey

If not Belgium had been pushed out the couple of minutes, i whould have had a perfect top 3 list. Not in the right order, but all of them in the top 3, so I’m actually rather proud of guessing so correctly, when everything is always unpredictable in Eurovision.

There where not that many suprises in the Final because 20 of the 25 countries already revealed their shows in the Semi Finals. Only suprise was this Johnny Jump Charetor who decided to make an offical appreance under Spains song that came number 2 in the order. (made Spain so sad, that they got to perform yet again at the end after who played last) They did not score so many points, but i don’t think it was Johnny Jumps fault…

My evening was okay fun, Gf and me had 4 friends over for beers and show, she cheering for Greece, agreeing with another friend, that if Greece won, they would go and see the Eurovision there next year. Well Greece did not win either and i doubt they wanna go to Berlin next year. We will just have to wait and see :-D All out an nice evening with friends, cheesy and . Uhh uuhhhh, before i forget, Denmark got a 4′th place!? Whats up with that!?

Eurovision 2010 semifinal 2

Eurovision 2010 semifinal 2

Yesterday i watched the Semifinals on instead of being present myself in Telenor Arena. Simply because i did not have a free ticket :-D Well, Gf was watching the Masterchef program on tv, so i had to watch the first 3 songs streamed from the NRK , the rest i could watch on the TV. I did kind a bet on Denmark not making it through to the final, but was proven wrong. however did not make it through the semifinals! This is a big blow for for this is the first time ever that they have not participated in the finals. Well….. their song was really not that good, i thought it was a bit boring and the female singer had a pushed vibrator voice, that was a little bit wanne’be to country western singing. I am surprised that the danish entry got chosen for it sounds remarkable much as the Police/Sting number “missing you”

Well the semifinals 2 did as the 1 first one did, also come with a lot of cheese and covers. Like Holland/Netherlands that has a Hollandic Polka with two “figurines” standing there and moving in the background. And the wind-machine was also used all the way through the rest of the acts as well. Well just a nice and cheesy semi final as expected.

Right now I’m trying to figure out what songs are gonna get the top 3 at the Finals and the list looks like this for now.

Picture of the Danish entry from Eurovision.tv

1. Belgium – With the John Mayer guy Tom Dice, They have a very international sing’n'song hit right there, that i believe we will hear a lot more of, even though if it does not win.

2. Germany – Germany is one of the countries that are automatically in the finals (due to the cash they per to the Eurovision events) And the Lilly Allan wanna’be has a catchy tune that appeals to a lot of people. Just don’t watch the for you might find it annoying very very fast.

3. Turkey – Manga (i think it’s Manga) is the name of the group that is the entry from Turkey. They are well known in their land and the entry is also a quite alright rock-song with live instruments. We can’t get another “Lordi” act thats surprises with a rock song, but then again, they are not trying to, so they might have a real possibility, so that’s is why they might get to the top 3.

This is my bet for Eurovision 2010, so lets just see this Saturday how right or wrong i am. I might but some money on this bet as well.

Eurovision semi final 1

Eurovision semi final 1

You take a piece of bread (made of chocolate), add some chocolate spread and springle with chocolate chips and top it of with whipped cream and chocolate sauce and you get a Eurovision 2010 artist sandwich.

I’ve never been a fan of the in Eurovision () but is more than just the music, it’s about the experience and having fun. (If you don’t try to have fun you might run away screaming.)

Yesterday i attended the MGP semi final 1 at Telenor arena here in Norway together with Gf and two other friends. We did not have the best seats in the arena, sitting all the way in the back. Lucky for us the arena had 2 big screens on each side, so everybody had a chance to see the action.

We started by getting the arena by buss and finding the rest of the way to the entrance. We went inside and tried to figure out where we could buy some and wine. We found the vendor but they only sold non-alcoholic and the wine costs 65 kr pr. glass. I took a Pepsi…..

The show started by the hostess welcoming people and giving some announcements like “don’t stand up during performances and don’t wave your flags around until the artist are done with the song” Apparently the arena is build so if you have to big flags and stand up, the cameras will catch the back of the audience and not the performer. As the warm up the singers from Wallmans sallons where performing different Eurovision songs and Abba.

The show started and the show started to transmit to the millions of viewers around the world, and the 3 hosts started doing their Norwegian/Frensh/English thing. The Semi final had 17 artists but only 10 will go on to the Final. Personally i think that Belgium did the best that evening with the performer Tom Dice. He was a simple sing/song writer and had the tune “Just me and my guitar” He had a wonderful voice but you might argue about if it was really John Mayer in a mask and with a name change. Belgium did had the biggest response when the song ended compared to any of the other countries.

And now the cheesy part. It’s no secret that many countries do what they can to stick out and be special, sometimes they have great succes (Remember Lordi from Finland?) and sometimes not that succesful (Remember Ukrainian entry from 2007? it and you will) This semifinal most cheesy entry was in my opinion Russia. He was singing his heart out with a (drawn) picture of his in the hand and the wind machine blowing in his hair… Excuse me…. hehehehehehe.. funny.. But also we did see huge wings, Butterflies, Techno white dress, Violins, drums and very very VERY enthusiastic dancers.

Norway’s entry is bit to “creamy” as well and i don’t think they will make it to the top 10 in the final. The danish entry is on my opinion crap as well. But they will have to defend themselves at the Eurovision Semifinal 2 tomorrow thursday. Let’s start be seeing if they make it to the final.

I lost a lot for the Eurovision contest back where won the 1 place with Olson Brothers “Fly on the wings of love” When they got voted to the final in the Danish competition they sang the song on Danish, and the title was also “smukt som et stjerneskud”. But when they arrived to give their entry in the Eurovision, the entire thing was suddenly translated to English. Don’t really care that they won, for it was not the same song as we voted for in . I have the biggest respect for the countries who perform in their own language compared to singing in English (unless you of cause are from Ireland, England and so on)

Well, I’m wrapped in cheese and chocolate now, so i might as well watch the Semi Final 2 on , and on Saturday we are having a party where we drink some beers and watch the final. Attached here are some pictures from the Semi final Yesterday. Have fun.

PvE vs PvP vs Co-Op

PvE vs PvP vs Co-Op

In different games you have different ways of playing beside the normal single-player campaign or whatever the game has to offer. In games (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games) you have the different servers to on. All depending if its PvP or PvE you are looking for.

PvP stands for Player vs Player, so the game is pretty much based on competing against other online players. PvE stands for People vs Environment, so here you are ussually teamed together with others to take down some Bitch or dragon or whatever. When playing mmorpg games PvE are usually the servers i go for (or the RP “Role Playing” servers) Because i find it a lot more fun working together with others accomplishing a goal together. Yes you can still play together on a PvP server but the essence on those servers are still PvP.

I always look for games with an excellent Co-Operation (Co-Op) function. I don’t need an entire team to have fun playing together. Games like 1 and 2 pretty much grinds my gears in a good way. I thinks it’s fun to battle the hordes of hell with just a single sidekick. This must be the reason why i also like the Halo games? Sense i played Halo the first time with one of my buddies. Two people in front of a little playing on the same xbox with a split screen trying to finish the halo games on the highest possible difficulty.

Many games offers different varieties of Co-Op. Games like Modern Warefare, Bad Company 2 and such. You have your team where you have to work together to accomplish a goal or just killing the other team. Game types like Capture the Flag, King of the Hill. I like game types where you have to accomplish a goal compared to games where you just have to shoot the other team to shit. I like team vs team games, and maybe because of the team effort! I’m one of those players who tries to follow my squad leader, give orders to the others, really try becoming a team. I have no doubt that this is also a success criteria in these kind of games.

I pre-ordered as said before the for , so i that the multiplayer part of it will be well worth it. For there is a looooooong time to Gears of War 3 and we have no clue on 3 yet.

Nazi vampire lesbian zombie strippers

Nazi vampire lesbian zombie strippers

Writing the post some days ago i totally forgot that we made a lot of fun of the movie “Dead ” (død snø) and seeing the movie “Shaun of the Dead” in tv one of the past evenings i remembered all the good and bad monster/nazi/vampire there has been the last many years.

has been a huge part of the entertainment industry for some while now. and movies. I personally think zombie/vampire/monster movies are fun, and of cause not all are sooooo good. But if you just take the movie for what it is, you can still have a good time watching it.

Being in the cabin with meter high snow all around of cause remind me of “dead snow” People in a cabin, snow…… Looked but we did not find any Nazi Zombies…. maybe for the best! And walking around in the forest did not find us some Lesbian either or Wolfmen, mad axmen or gnomes with a pot full of gold… only snow.

Hmmmm…. starting to think the movies are not true :-| And when does someone combine all the moves and make a “Nazi vampire lesbian zombie
