Once upon a time, back some where in the 1990′s. I by a freak accident smashed my head into a wooden pole… DIIING…. I broke my nose, and not just broke it, but the bone in the middle flip. Of cause i got it fixed in the hospital. And all was well. Now, about a year ago i started to notice that i had trouble breathing through one of my nostrils. I thought it might have been a cold, and it was just blocked. But as time went by, i started to get worried for my nose did not clear up yet. I can breath but only fully through one of my nostrils. This also results in a little whistle concert while i sleep.

I finally around two months ago, got an appointment with the nose doctor. I could see that my nose might have gone a bit askew again. Here therefor booked me in for a time at the hospital. I went there this Wednesday, and stayed there being looked up the nose from different doctors and surgeons. They all agreed that the nose was skewed to the side… Well thank your for confirming what i already know…. Apparently they could not take a decision on what to do with the nose. Apparently they are not allowed to do anything with the nose, only a Chief Surgeon would be able to do that. An “ordinary” Doctor was not allowed when my nose has been fixed before… back in the 1990′s……

So it all resulted in another booking with the chief surgeon, who will decide what to do, when he got them time in the schedule. So now I’m back in 1½ month waiting period before I cane told,what they can do to fix it.

Is this really that necessary to get fixes? YES it is. I have trouble falling a sleep and i only breath through the nose. I can her my voice being more “nasal” than normal. And in my professional life, i depend on my breathing and voice, when standing on stage. So i can’t wait for them to tell me some good news about fixing it. Hopefully they don’t chop off my pretty pretty (big) nose..

I bought my first SLR camera from my photo teacher back in 2001. It was a Good old Olympus OM10 and I loved it like crazy. I still do even. It’s always been there, hanging about 40 cm. from my head sitting at my computer. I got a “upgrade” when I got the Canon 200V a fully automatic monster back in 2002…. Still analogue. In 2006 I got my very first digital SLR. The Canon D20, and upgraded again in 2009 with Canon 5D mark II.

Well, in the moment my good old friend who I look at everyday, is assisting my character in the play “Calendar Girls”. Sitting there fumbling a bit around with the camera checking the inner workings, I found this sticker where the film is supposed to be. The sticker says “Foto Østerport, Silkeborg tlf (06) 82 11 12.
This made me think briefly about the life my camera had before it got to know me. Who was the first owner, who loved it first, and why did it get sold in the first place “or stolen?” And when? I meen the phone number type is not even being used in Denmark anymore, and I don’t know if the photoshop where is got sold even is there any more. Well….. Just got me thinking a bit.

Not so long ago, the nice fellows at; The Interbeing released together with Metal Hammer UK, Mighty Music and Target, their new music video for the Song: Shadow Drift. I’ve seen them live a few times during the last many years, and they still rock the place out of life concerts. It is nice to see a video that rocks just as equal. Enjoy.

Totally forgot to mention the nice little dinner surprise that The Charlotte made the other day.She cooked food this day, but before serving the main dish, she served me a plate of Appetizers. Everything wrapped in Bacon! Oven baked potato wedges wrapped in bacon, Broccoli in bacon and more. There was even Bacon wrapped in Bacon! See the picture below!

Saturday, the big 2012. And what are we looking forward for? Better Health?, More business?, better lifestyle? New Bathroom?,  More friends?,  More nights out?, Money? I always enjoy the New Years Eve party. I never go out to town, i always stay at the party, where ever i am. Why spoil an evening with friends by going out after midnight? Crowded places, people being to drunk, Things that goes bang! I’m going to a nice private party with two good friends that invited me. The Charlotte, is not coming with me this evening, she has her own plans. People might call me stupid for not joining a party with 10 Stripfittness girls, but prioritizing some friends instead Have a nice and safe evening, and see you in 2012

Sooo many games, soooooo little time.

With Battlefield 3, Gears of War 3 and Skyrim already out, it’s hard to find time to enjoy them as it is. Trying to Balance Work, Professional theater, PanCakeBeaver.com, social life and Girlfriend beside the gaming, is hard enough as it is. Now we have two greats games on the way, one with US release the 20th of December namely; Star Wars: The Old Republic. Second one is of cause Diablo 3. Both great game (hopefully, did try Swtor Beta). These titles are both valid reasons for calling in sick one week at the time (of cause I’M not gonna do that)

With new games there is cool opening scenes to sell it. Where both Diablo 3 and Swtor has realeased them,posted here of cause. But to get back to the time issue. I find it harder and harder to find time for everything. Work takes up minimum 8 hours everyday, and the rest takes on my spare time when not sleeping! So you can see that it’s a lot of “hobbies” for the remainder of the time on a day.

Today I’m going to my brothers place at Nivå to celebrate my nieces 1 year birthday.  Funny how much can happen within one year.  And you can see the difference so much month to month. Of cause this is not the first time i see this, for i am a uncle to 10 little people (well… little little, two of them are 19 and 18 now..)

I’m looking forward to seeing a lot of the family this afternoon, for i have been trapped in the darkness of the the lovely theater for just about a month now, but we finished it Thursday (at least for now) so i can have a bit of family life again. Seeing friends etc.

Last monday i attended a seminar with the well know (well.. for some) Photographer Mark Cleghorn, who was on his Lastolite tour. He has been a spokesperson for Lastolite for many years, and the tour is also sponsored by them. And is of cause a big advisement for them. Of cause this is not hidden in any way, and i was there to learn how to use different products that now just happens to be from Lastolite. One of the items that i always wanted i now want even more, after being instructed in it’s use. Retail price is around 3200 kr for the size i want, and it’s called the HiLite. Basically it’s a big softbox that also doubles as a background that you can light from behind to get those hikey model photo’s that i some times aim for. But with a lot better result than a normal white background. So something to aim for, when getting a little money rolling. Mark Cleghorn is very talented, and i also bought a year subscription to his learning website www.phototraining4u.com

Halloween is in the works we speak. This American tradition is getting a good hold in Denmark. Children all around the country are running around Trick’n'treating. I’m starting to love this tradition, or at least parts of it. I’ve been out at a friends place the ladt couple of years carving pumpkins, or as she calls it “Pumpkin Slaughter” it’s usually really cozy, and this year was no different. A lot of pumpkins list their life’s but got reincarnated to something cool like a Football helmet, Mr. Spock, Pumpkin Jack or even a ghost tree. Attached are a couple of pictures of the pumpkins and a close up of mine. I really carve like shit, but think the end result came out okay.

So the weekend is coming to an end. And what did i do with my life this weekend? Well it feels like i have got nothing done, but sometimes having a real chilling weekend might be good for ya. It’s not like i have done nothing at all, but accomplished very little.

Getting of work Friday i had a great taste for beer. (Don’t you always have that on Fridays?) But had nothing planed. I then remembered that Halo: Reach got released some few days ago, and sense I’ve been a fan of the other Halo games (even bought Halo: ODST) i thought to myself, that why not give it a go. So i acquired the game from my local Block Buster and went home, to start up the Campaign. Before i knew it, the time was way to much to be doing anything else and i just as well could keep on playing. So i did till about 3 in the morning.

Saturday i decided to get a bit out, so i arranged to go to my brothers place and see their new house/flat out in Nivå. I had to go to my English group The CTC first, where we are rehearsing the production of “The House of Yes” that premieres around start October. Afterwards i took the train for Nivå to meet the family. We decided to just stay in and have a drink (or many) when my niece was put to bed. My brother had all the ingredients needed to make Black or White Russians. For the Black Russian you just need Vodka and Kahlua, and to make a White you just add some milk afterwards.  Well….. we had a few and went to bed around 4 in the morning.

Returning this Sunday i was pretty much back in a planless weekend, and not because there is that much weekend left, but decided to play a bit more Halo. This is where my accomplishment actually come in, for i succeeded in completing the solo campaign earlier this afternoon. On of my main reasons for loving Halo is for the fun you have when playing this kind of game in Cooperative mode, together with a friend or friends. Problem is just, that i don’t have any online who also have the game! So if you have the game, let me know, so we can complete it again in cooperative mode on Heroic mode!

Well, weekend is over and work is calling once again in the morning. Should go to bed a bit earlier than 3 and 4 in the morning! Woop woop
