Yesterday i wanted to update my iPhone It’s been awhile sense i did it last. I plugged in the phone to the computer to update it via iTunes as you are supposed to. Trying to update it i received the error, that iTunes could not read the iPhone, and had to reinstall it to default values, meaning that all applications and music would be lost. Hmm… Okay.. I go into the phone and write down some of my newer phone numbers so i’m sure not loosing them. Once again, plug in the phone an start the update process. Take a while for the phone to finish and after that, it’s want to add the latest backup that i have to the phone.
When the entire shazham are done, i notice a couple of things. First thing is, that all my applications are gone, something must have gone wrong when making the old backup that got loaded on to the phone. Crap, now i have to figure out what applications i was actually using, and using them or not, what apps have i already payed for, so i can download again. (One program i was not able to find is the Ping! program that lets you send free SMS to other ping users over the data network, apparently they are in some legal issues with a golf company of the same name)
The next thing i noticed in updating the phone is my pictures…. I’m missing about 60 pictures… All my resent pictures from my DK trip, The boat back to Oslo, and some pictures of friends are gone… NOOOOOOOO. On thing i really really dislike is deleting pictures. I have not lost pictures like this sense 2001 where i lost 500 pictures from the school i just finished. Tai is a sad sad panda….. huge DOH!
