Ending a year (2009) always brings a lot of “the Best game of the year” titles from various gamer sites. 2009 have had quite some excellent subjects for that title. Dragon Age, CODMW2 just to mention a few. Okay so i tune in to one of my usual sites to check the list and thinking that CODMW2 was a sure winner…. And the winner is:
Demon’s Souls (DD)… WTF? What the hell is DD and why have i not heard about before? Where did it come from, and have everybody been so hooked up on Assassins Creed and Modern Warfare that it was totally overlooked?
And putting it against the other games of 2009 it must really be something good.
I have done a little research now on DD and found out it’s an Asian game made by Namco, published by Sony. This also means it’ for the PS3. Belive it came out start of 2009 and became such a success in Asia that it around august got released in the USA. So far there is no plan to release it in Europe, so we will not be seeing it over here for some while, or maybe not at all. So where do i find it? Well some Internet shops have it already in their selling lists. Cost a bit more than normal games, but only because they themselves need to import from USA.
I would really like this game, but 600 NOK might be a little steep at the moment. Plus i can only play with strangers sense nobody i know has it or have plans to get it any time soon. I want my Demon’s Souls…
